The CATADORES application will interest both experts and newcomers in the world of wine. Derived from the magazine Tasters, directed by Rodolfo Gerschman, this App offers, thanks to its intuitive navigation, quick and uncomplicated access to the world of wine through tastings, analysis and news.
The application incorporates user's location. If you accept, the App will notify you of sites near your location for purchase or consumption of wine, such as shops, restaurants and wineries.
The tasting of each wine includes a sheet that will inform you of its type (red, white, pink, sweet, sparkling), the strains with which it is made, cellar, storage time, alcohol degrees, cask aging, price, Rodolfo Gerschman's rating and the average rating of the users.
You decide your search according to your interest: for wines, wineries, winemakers, scores and news. You can also access, either through notifications or search, the latest news and tastings made by the team of CATADORES, which cover a wide universe of labels, winemakers and wineries present in Mexico.
You can also post your wine comment and see other users' previous registration through Facebook or with your email address. Additionally, you can access the list of registered users and their comments and ratings from the home menu.
In the Mexico chapter, the application includes the GUÍA CATADORES DEL VINO MEXICANO, which covers more than 400 labels of about 100 wineries. The latter includes information on its owner, winemaker, year of foundation, number of hectares, region of origin and website, as well as its location on the map and photographs of the winemaker or owner.
